During the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officials determined that in December 2021, two officials from a joint-stock company in Kryvyi Rih failed to monitor the emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, resulting in air pollution.

This fact was documented by the staff of the environmental inspection of Dnipropetrovsk region, who prepared the relevant act.

Officers from the police station №3 of the Kryvyi Rih District Police Department, after conducting a series of investigative measures and receiving the results of an engineering and environmental examination, informed two individuals of their suspicion under Part 1 of Article 241 (pollution of the atmospheric air) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Indictment acts against the men have been sent to court.
