A 25-year-old man in the Kamyanskyi district has been charged with theft of power tools and a motorcycle.

Over the course of two days, the suspect committed two thefts and unlawfully took possession of a motorcycle. Law enforcement officials located the stolen property and returned it to its owner.

On January 25, around 11:00 PM, a man gained access to a agricultural base, where he stole battery packs intended for powering freight vehicles from a hangar. He kept the stolen items at his home.

The following day, the suspect returned and took power tools and a moped from the hangar.

Officers from police station No. 6 of the Kamianske District Police Department identified the thief. He turned out to be a 25-year-old man with a previous criminal record, residing in one of the villages in the Kamianske district.

With the approval of the Zhovti Vody District Prosecutor's Office, the man was informed of his suspicion regarding the commission of criminal offenses under Part 2 of Article 289 (illegal acquisition of a vehicle) and Part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
