A 38-year-old man was arrested in Kamianske for snatching a bag from a passerby and fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred on November 26 at approximately 4:20 PM. Police determined that the 53-year-old victim was walking home when an unknown individual approached him, snatched the bag containing his mobile phone, and fled the scene.

Through conducted investigative measures, officers from Police Station No. 2 of the Kamianske District Police Department apprehended a criminal. The individual turned out to be a 38-year-old local resident with a prior conviction.

The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. With the agreement of the Kamianske District Prosecutor's Office, the suspect was informed of the charges against him for committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and a preventive measure of detention was chosen.
