Police dismantled a network of regional drug gangs that produced nearly a ton of narcotics each month.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The police established that members of one of the criminal organizations had set up a smuggling channel for supplying precursors from Poland to specially equipped warehouses. There, they were packaged and delivered to five drug cartels that produced Alpha-PVP and amphetamines in seven regions.

From there, the substances were distributed nationwide using “master cards” and private logistics companies through bot farms and Telegram channels.

As a result of two phases of police operations conducted in June and October of this year across 20 regions of Ukraine, over 300 kg of finished products and 1,000 liters of recreational Alpha-PVP mixtures were seized, along with more than 15 tons of precursors, over 70 kg of amphetamines, and 16 kg of mephedrone, valued at over 400 million hryvnias at black market prices.

The investigators of the National Police have gathered enough evidence and announced suspicions against 73 members of the drug syndicate.
