Jealousy-fueled murder: Dnipro police have announced that a suspect has been identified in the case.
The incident occurred on January 24 at approximately 10:00 PM near one of the houses on Shvydkisna Street. According to law enforcement, the suspect arrived at the residence of his ex-wife, where she was living with a 40-year-old man. During a confrontation, the assailant stabbed the man. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. After committing the crime, the suspect left the knife behind and fled the area.

The patrol officers apprehended the assailant near his residence and handed him over to the investigative team of the police department No. 1 of the Dnipro district police department No. 2, who gathered sufficient evidence linking the suspect to the crime.
The assailant was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
On January 25, investigators informed the detainee of his suspicion under part 1 of Article 115 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man faces up to 15 years of imprisonment for the committed crime. The investigation is ongoing.
