Murdered and hid the body in the basement: police in Synelnykove have apprehended a suspect.

During a gathering, the assailant became jealous of his partner's guest. An argument broke out between the two men, during which the assailant fatally beat the victim. On February 18, a distressed woman contacted the police to report her son's disappearance.

The law enforcement officers have initiated a criminal investigation and started searching for a 28-year-old man. A few days later, the body of the missing local resident was discovered in the basement of a property in the village of Slavhorod, located in the Synelnykove district.

It was revealed that on February 12, the victim visited a 40-year-old man. During their conversation, the homeowner inflicted multiple bodily injuries on the city resident, which led to the guest's death. To cover up the crime, the suspect concealed the man's body in the basement.

Currently, the suspect has been informed of the charges under part 1 of Article 115 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
