It has been established that a 20-year-old resident of the Yavoriv district, along with his 25-year-old accomplice, intended to smuggle a conscript-aged individual across the border outside of designated checkpoints. For their services, the "businessmen" demanded $2,500 per person, which clients were to transfer to a cryptocurrency wallet. The package included detailed instructions, a route plan, and transportation to the border.

One of the perpetrators was caught red-handed near the border. He and his accomplice have already been informed of their suspicion in committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Article 332 (Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The men face imprisonment for a term of seven to nine years.
