A 55-year-old arms dealer was caught selling ammunition on the street by law enforcement in Kryvyi Rih.

On February 27, in a village near the town of Sofiivka, located in the Kryvyi Rih district, officers from Police Station No. 9 of the Kryvyi Rih District Police Department apprehended an individual while he was in the act of selling ammunition.

Police discovered two detonators, five grenades, and cash with a previously convicted man. The seized evidence has been sent for examination.

Based on the collected evidence, the police detained the individual under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Currently, investigators, in coordination with the Kryvyi Rih Eastern District Prosecutor's Office, have informed the man of his suspicion under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and have chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention.
