Law enforcement in Zaporizhzhia has arrested two drug dealers.

Police officers have recorded the criminal activities of two men involved in the distribution of illegal substances within the city.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region reported this.

In the Oleksandrivskyi district of the city, a 41-year-old drug dealer received 19,000 hryvnias for selling 60 grams of cannabis. His 46-year-old "colleague" from the Komunar district managed to earn 800 hryvnias from the sale of Alpha-PVP weighing about 0.5 grams. Police also established that he allowed "clients" to consume the purchased "goods" at his home.

Law enforcement conducted searches at the suspects' addresses, during which they discovered and seized medical syringes for injections containing traces of narcotic substances, containers and zip bags with crystalline substances, paper wraps with plant-based materials, mobile phones, a tablet device, and cash obtained through criminal means.

Both drug dealers were detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. They were informed of the suspicion of committing a crime as defined in part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacturing, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The 46-year-old drug dealer was additionally charged under part 1 of Article 317 (Organization or maintenance of places for the illegal use, production, or manufacturing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
