Law enforcement in Zaporizhzhia has apprehended a man on suspicion of armed robbery. Here are the details of the incident.
Yesterday, December 12, law enforcement received a report of a robbery at a store in one of the villages in the Zaporizhia district. A man entered the shop and, threatening a customer with a knife, demanded that the cashier hand over the items he wanted. After obtaining what he came for, the perpetrator left the store.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region reported this.
Law enforcement officials interviewed witnesses of the offense and reviewed surveillance camera footage from the area near the crime scene. As a result of these efforts, investigators identified the attacker and located his whereabouts. A 46-year-old resident of the Zaporizhzhia district was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The suspect has currently been informed of the charges related to the crime stipulated in Part 4 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
