Law enforcement in Dnipro thwarted a terrorist attack on the railway and apprehended two suspects. Here are the details.
In collaboration with Russian intelligence services, the suspects created an improvised explosive device, which they then planted under fuel tankers on a railway line, intending to detonate it. The saboteurs were apprehended at the crime scene.

As established by law enforcement, the detainees are residents of Dnipro who agreed to carry out a terrorist act at the behest of an enemy agent. They purchased all the necessary components to create an improvised explosive device. The target of the enemy was fuel tanks located on railway tracks near a factory in Dnipro.
The actions of the terrorists have been classified under Part 2 of Article 15 and Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (completed attempt of a terrorist act committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy). They face up to 12 years of imprisonment with property confiscation.
