Attacked a serviceman: Law enforcement in Zaporizhia has announced charges against the assailant.
On October 12, 2024, in the Oleksandrivsk district of the city, a 47-year-old man became involved in a verbal altercation with a former military serviceman over interference with the movement of his vehicle.

The press service of the Main Department of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region reported this.
During the incident, the driver exited the vehicle and struck a man in the head, knocking him to the ground. Following this, he delivered several more blows to the victim and fled the scene. The 58-year-old serviceman was hospitalized at a local hospital.
On January 9, immediately after receiving the forensic medical examination report, the suspect was informed of the suspicion of committing a crime under part 1 of Article 122 (Intentional moderate bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.
