In Dnipropetrovsk, police have submitted an indictment to court against two officials for forging documents and embezzling budget funds.
The criminal activity of officials was documented by employees of Police Station No. 2 of the Dnipro District Police Department. During the investigation, it was revealed that since March 2023, an official responsible for tracking employee working hours falsified a time sheet with information about the hours worked by her daughter, who was employed as a security guard at the company. Law enforcement discovered that the woman had not actually reported for work, yet she was receiving a salary funded by budgetary resources.

In agreement with the Slobozhansk District Prosecutor's Office, the individuals involved have been informed of their suspicion in committing criminal offenses as stipulated in part 1 of Article 366 (service forgery) and part 4 of Article 191 (embezzlement, misappropriation of property, or acquisition thereof through abuse of office) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On January 24, investigators sent the indictment against the suspects to court.
