A 50-year-old man in Dnipro attempted to stab his sleeping brother. Law enforcement has arrested the suspect.
On February 28, the police received a report of an attempted murder at a residence in the Novokodatsky district. Following a long-standing dispute among family members, the suspect stabbed his brother while he was resting. The injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The 50-year-old attacker was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Additionally, law enforcement officials discovered that the man had a previous conviction for intentional murder.
Currently, the detainee has been informed of the suspicion under part 3 of Article 15, paragraph 13 of part 2 of Article 115 (attempted intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man may face life imprisonment for the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
