A 10-year-old child died at the scene, and four others were hospitalized in a tragic car accident in Dnipro.

Last night, on December 1st, around 7:45 PM, an accident occurred near Naberezhna Zavodska Street in Dnipro. As a result of the collision, a 10-year-old girl lost her life, while three other passengers, including two young children, and the driver sustained injuries.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

It has been preliminarily established that the driver of the “BMW” vehicle collided with a “Ford” car while the latter was executing a turning maneuver near the “Children's Kindergarten” public transport stop.

As a result of the accident, a 10-year-old passenger of the “Ford” vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the “Ford” and three other passengers, including two minor children, sustained injuries. They have been hospitalized.

The driver of the “BMW” has been detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. A criminal proceeding has been opened regarding this incident under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
