On the night of February 27 in Kyiv, it was noisy. Reports indicated multiple explosions as Russian drones once again attempted to attack the capital, with at least one UAV detected in the Brovary area.
This information was shared by the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko. He urged residents of the capital to remain in shelters until the air raid alert was lifted.
"Air defense forces are engaging enemy drones in the capital. Stay in shelters!", he wrote.
According to monitoring channels, at least one drone was located in the Brovary area, and another UAV was flying over the Kyiv region. There have been no reports yet on any consequences following the downing of the drone(s).
Recall that on the night of February 26, Russian occupiers again attacked Ukraine with "Shaheds", with explosions occurring in the Kyiv region. In the Bucha district, a private house was completely burned down as a result of the attack. It turned out that a popular TV host, Vladimir Ostapchuk, and his family were at the epicenter of the events.
Additionally, journalist Tatyana Kulik was killed during a Russian attack on the Kyiv region on the night of Wednesday, February 26. Her husband, the head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 at the A.A. Bogomolets National Medical University, Professor Pavel Ivanchiev, also lost his life.
As reported by "Telegraph", on the night of February 26, there were four strikes by "Shaheds" in Kharkiv. One of them hit an apartment on the second floor of a nine-story building in a Kyiv district, causing a fire. Fortunately, no one was in the apartment at the time. However, the third floor was damaged, and two individuals were injured.
