In Kyiv, a minibus collided with a bus. As a result, two people lost their lives, and four others sustained injuries.

This was reported by the press service of the capital's police on Facebook. It is noted that the accident occurred in the Holosiivskyi district, in the southern part of the city.

"Preliminary findings indicate that today around 18:30, a 68-year-old driver of a Hyundai vehicle, while traveling on the Stolychne Highway, veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a bus traveling in the opposite direction, a Mercedes," the message states.

It is reported that the driver and a female passenger in the Hyundai died at the scene. A 4-year-old boy was also in the car and suffered injuries; he was taken to the hospital.

Among the bus passengers, three individuals were injured, including a 6-year-old child. Details of the incident are being clarified, and police are working at the scene.

As previously reported, on January 11 in the Lviv region, a passenger car and a bus collided on the "Kurovychi-Rohatyn" highway. As a result of the collision, seven people were injured, and all were taken to local medical facilities.
