You haven't seen a chase like this: an unusual participant in traffic tries to escape from the police (video).

In the city of Netishyn, located in the Khmelnytskyi region, a rider was spotted fleeing from a police car while riding a horse during the night. The law enforcement officers activated their flashing lights and sounded warning signals.

The man on the horse sped down the deserted street and disappeared from sight. Local media report on this incident.

It remains unclear where the rider was headed in such a hurry. However, judging by the footage released, the man appeared quite confident in the saddle and seemed to be experienced in horseback riding.

Unsurprisingly, witnesses of the chase were astonished by such an unusual sight and hurried to capture the event on their mobile phones.

In the comments under the video, people began to express their thoughts that the police might have frightened the animal with loud signals and flashing lights.

Social media users also noted that in Ukraine today, it is more cost-effective to buy a horse than to pay for car insurance, and they compared the rider to the main character of the movie "Ghost Rider," starring Nicolas Cage:

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that wild animals "attacked" a gas station in Uman. The origin of the animals near the gas station remains unknown. According to social media users' assumptions, wild boars might have come to the gas station in search of food.
