In the night of Tuesday, February 11, Russians launched a missile strike on gas infrastructure in the Poltava region. Some residents were left without gas supply.

This was reported by the Poltava Regional Military Administration. Due to the Russian shelling, nine settlements in the Myrhorod district were left without gas supply. No hits on civilian infrastructure have been recorded.

The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, clarified on Facebook that the attack on the gas infrastructure occurred at night. In the morning, the Russians continued shelling energy facilities in Ukraine, launching a large-scale missile attack.

"To minimize potential consequences for the energy system, the transmission system operator urgently implements emergency electricity restrictions", Halushchenko added.

As reported by "Telegraph," on the morning of February 11, due to the Russian missile attack, by order of "Ukrenergo," emergency power outages were introduced in Ukraine. After the air raid alert ends and the situation in the energy system stabilizes, the restrictions will be lifted.
