On the morning of Wednesday, November 27, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, which is under Russian control, a series of loud explosions were reported. Preliminary information suggests a combined strike involving missiles and several dozen drones.
This is being reported by various local channels. They also mention that Russian air defense systems are operational in Crimea.
"The Russian air defense is firing from the Belbek airfield and the Inkerman area, according to subscribers. It is unknown whether any targets have been hit," the channels state.
At the "Saki" airfield in Novofedorivka, the sound of Russian air defense can also be heard. Reports indicate four explosions.
The so-called "governor" of the Russian-occupied Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, announced in his Telegram channel that, according to preliminary information, "two aerial targets have already been shot down over the waters near the Northern side."
Just a few minutes after this announcement, Razvozhayev wrote about the cancellation of the air raid alert, despite the dozens of drones moving towards Crimea.
Locals who arrived at the art school seeking shelter were denied entry.
"They wouldn’t let us into the shelter, saying it was closed. When asked 'why?', they struggled to provide an answer," the message states.
At the same time, despite the so-called governor's announcement of the cancellation of the air raid alert, explosions continue to be heard in Sevastopol and its surroundings.
Moreover, according to local Telegram channels, their subscribers who hear the sounds of explosions are unable to determine if it is effective air defense action or strikes on targets.
Reports indicate that the loudest sounds are currently coming from the vicinity of the "Belbek" airport. "It seems the main strike is directed there," the public writes.
Details on the consequences of the attack in Crimea are still unknown; however, according to Razvozhayev, debris has been recorded falling in the vicinity of Orlovka near the Kachinskoye highway.
At the same time, the public "Crimean Wind" reports that there is significant smoke visible on the territory of the Black Sea Naval Academy named after Nakhimov following the explosions.
Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported that in the territories captured by Russia in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, there is no electricity or water. The occupiers cite damage to power lines as the reason.
