On Saturday, January 11, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected. In the country's roads, except for the south and southeast, there will be icy conditions in some areas.
Drivers and pedestrians are urged to be as attentive and cautious as possible. This was reported by the press service of the Patrol Police of Ukraine.
According to "Ukrhydrometcenter," light snow is expected today in the western regions, with temperatures fluctuating between +1…+4°C throughout the day.
In the northern, central, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions, moderate wet snow and rain are possible, with daytime temperatures ranging from -1 to +5°C.
In the rest of the country, rain will fall, with daytime temperatures reaching +5…+10°C.
On the country's roads, except for the south and southeast, there will be icy conditions in some areas.
"Drivers, be especially careful behind the wheel, strictly adhere to traffic rules while driving. Don’t forget about seat belts, maintain a safe speed and distance, and follow parking rules (to avoid obstructing snow removal vehicles). Pedestrians, cross the road only at designated places and use reflective elements," the message states.

In the western regions, light snow is expected at night in some areas, with snow and wet snow during the day, and moderate snowfall in the Carpathians. Roads will be icy with a snow cover. The wind will be from the southwest at 7 – 12 m/s, with gusts in the Carpathians during the day reaching 15 – 20 m/s. Air temperatures at night will range from 0 to -5 °C, and during the day from -3 to +2 °C.
In the northern regions, moderate precipitation in the form of rain, snow, and wet snow is expected at night and in the morning, with no significant precipitation during the day. There may be wet snow accumulation, and icy conditions on the roads in some areas. The wind will be from the west/southwest at 5 – 10 m/s. Night temperatures are expected to be between -1 and +5 °C, and daytime temperatures between -1 and +4 °C.
In the central regions, rain is expected to transition to wet snow. Fog is possible in some areas. The wind will be from the south at night and from the west during the day, at 7 – 12 m/s. Air temperatures will fluctuate between +2 and +7 °C throughout the day.
In the southern regions and Crimea, rain will fall at night, with light rain expected in some areas during the day, and moderate rain in the evening on the southern coast of Crimea. The wind will mainly be from the northwest at 7 – 12 m/s, with gusts at night reaching 15 – 20 m/s in some areas. Air temperatures will range from +3 to +9 °C throughout the day.
In the eastern regions, there will be no significant precipitation at night, with light rain expected during the day. Fog may occur in some areas. The wind will be from the south, transitioning to the west during the day at 5 – 10 m/s. Air temperatures will range from +2 to +7 °C throughout the day.
