Starting Wednesday, February 12, traffic will be restricted on Novokonstantinovskaya Street in Kyiv. The reason is scheduled repairs to the overpass.
This information is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA). The work will be carried out in phases to maintain traffic flow on certain sections.
"In Kyiv, traffic will be limited on Novokonstantinovskaya Street from Korableyna Street to Vikentiy Khvoyka Street starting February 12," — the KSCA stated.
The city administration notes that detours around the specified section will take place via Vikentiy Khvoyka, Korolevska, and Mykola Kravchenko Streets. A major overhaul is planned for the entire street, but it will be done gradually.
It is noted that this overpass was put into operation back in 1969 and has not undergone any major repairs since then.
"The work will be conducted in stages to maintain traffic on the overpass. The entire scope of work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025," — the KSCA added.
As a reminder, a state agency in Kyiv wants to purchase 3 SUVs with budget funds. The tender has been announced for over 5 million UAH.
