Passenger planes have once again been spotted over the western regions of Ukraine, despite the airspace being closed since the start of the war. Recently, there was a simultaneous flight of five passenger aircraft.
According to the Flightradar24 service, on January 6, aircraft from Turkish Airlines, Finnair, and LOT Polish Airlines were present in the airspace. They were recorded over the Transcarpathian region.
3 4Specifically, this refers to a Turkish Airlines flight from Tallinn to Istanbul, as well as a route from Stockholm to Istanbul.
5 6The third passenger aircraft from Finnair was operating a flight from Bangkok to Helsinki. The Polish airline LOT had a flight from Baku to Warsaw. At seven in the evening, another Turkish Airlines passenger plane was recorded over Ukraine, flying from Warsaw to Istanbul.
7 8It is worth noting that the air traffic monitoring system has previously shown the presence of civilian aircraft in Ukrainian skies. However, aviation experts attribute these occurrences to technical malfunctions in navigation systems or the tracking service itself.
Earlier, "Telegraph" also reported that three passenger planes were spotted in the sky over Ukraine. They flew over one of the regions.
