When might mobilization in Ukraine come to a halt? The Military Recruitment Center has provided an answer.

In Ukraine, martial law and general mobilization have been extended. The deadline for mobilization is February 7, 2025, but it may also be prolonged.

Roman Istomin, the spokesperson for the Poltava Regional Military Commissariat, informed "Suspilne" about when mobilization might be suspended. According to him, mobilization efforts will continue as long as Ukraine requires additional forces for defense.

"It is important to understand that mobilization measures are ongoing because Russia has been trying to destroy Ukraine for over two and a half years, which forces Ukrainians to defend themselves against Russian aggression. This requires both equipment and personnel. The defense forces are managing this pressure, but they need reinforcements, and the Military Commissariat is the primary mechanism for mobilization," emphasized Istomin.

The representative of the Poltava Military Commissariat added that as soon as a sufficient number of people are called up to staff the defense forces, all measures, including compulsory mobilization and administrative detentions, will cease to exist as a phenomenon.

Recall that recently, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated that Ukraine should continue mobilization in 2025 to maintain defense and achieve the goals and objectives outlined in the military strategy. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense is ready to engage with businesses regarding the reservation of employees.

According to the minister, the defense ministry provides other ministries with information on how many personnel are needed to hold the front and form reserves.

He also noted that the ministry "has heard that the economy needs reserving." He added that the Ministry of Defense "will always be open" to business arguments.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that the Military Commissariat explained whether they would send conscripts to the front. As of today, no official information has been received regarding this matter.
