The morning massive attack by Russians on Ukraine caused significant damage to the infrastructure in Rivne. Several rockets flew simultaneously across the region, monitoring groups reported.
At 08:26, local groups reported the first explosions in the area and in the regional center. There were multiple explosions at once.
It has become known that due to the massive strike, the situation in Rivne is complicated. Schools have been switched to remote learning. This applies to Rivne and part of the Rivne district. The head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, reported that 280,000 subscribers in the region are without electricity. Due to the lack of power, there are also disruptions in water supply. It is not yet reported where the Russians hit this time, or if the debris from an intercepted rocket caused a fire. A column of smoke can be seen over the city.
A similar situation recently occurred in Ternopil. There, due to a strike on energy infrastructure, thousands of subscribers were left without electricity. The situation with energy supply remains difficult—electricity is provided for only a few hours a day.
Earlier, "Telegraph" also reported that Kiev was attacked during a massive missile strike. Air defense forces were active in the capital, and debris from enemy missiles fell in two districts.
