Today marks the 1055th day of the full-scale war with Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the previous day, January 12, there have been 124 combat encounters on the front lines. Russian forces have made advances in the Donetsk region.

According to data from the DeepState portal, the Russian army has advanced in Chasiv Yar (Kramatorsk direction), Toretsk (Toretsk direction), Yantarny, Novovasilyivka (Pokrovsk direction). Additionally, the Russians have made gains near Yelizavetivka, Zeleny, Zverevy, and Kotlyne (also in the Pokrovsk direction).

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of 22:00 on January 12, the majority of enemy attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk direction. There, the Russians attempted to breach our defenses 50 times near the settlements of Yelizavetivka, Lisovka, Zeleny, Luch, Novy Trud, Pokrovsk, Udachny, Kotlyne, Novovasilyivka, Serebryane, Petropavlivka, Novoandriivka, Dachne, Shevchenko, and Yantarny.

"The enemy is suffering significant losses — today (January 12, — ed.) in this direction, 376 occupiers were neutralized, 184 of whom were irretrievable. Four units of military vehicles were also destroyed, and two enemy guns were damaged,” the General Staff added.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 11 times. They advanced near the settlements of Kopanky, Sheikivka, Pervomaiske, Makeevka, Terny, and Zarechne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, 14 combat encounters were recorded at the time of the report. Fighting occurred around Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked defense positions 11 times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts near the settlements of Toretsk, Biila Hora, and Shcherbynivka.
