April-like weather continues in Ukraine, with temperatures reaching up to +16 degrees on January 28.

The abnormal warm weather that settled in Ukraine at the end of January will continue into next week. In some areas, air temperatures will reach record levels.

According to forecasts from meteorologist Igor Kibalchich, on Tuesday, January 28, warm and dry weather will persist in Ukraine, with no precipitation expected. The wind will be from the south at 5-10 m/s. At night, thermometers will register between +1 and +6 degrees, with some places in the western region reaching 7-10 degrees above zero. During the day, temperatures will rise to between 7-12 degrees Celsius, with southern and western regions (especially in Prykarpattia) expecting 13-16 degrees of warmth.

Kibalchich explained that this week, abnormally warm air will be moving into Ukraine from the Balkan Peninsula and the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. Against the backdrop of southern winds and relatively high atmospheric pressure, average temperatures will exceed the climatic norm by 7-12 degrees. Moreover, record high temperatures are likely during the daytime.

"Thus, the weather will resemble early April rather than the peak of winter. The map of the average land temperature anomaly from January 27 to February 3 shows unprecedented warmth across Eastern and Southeastern Europe," the meteorologist concluded.

Previously, "Telegraph" provided a detailed report on the weather in Ukraine on Monday, January 27. The entire territory of Ukraine will be cloudy with clear spells and no precipitation.
