The Supreme Court has refuted claims that court employees allegedly leaked documents obtained while performing their official duties. The statement was published on the official website of the Supreme Court.
The court notes that media outlets are spreading information about the supposed unlawful dissemination of documents by Supreme Court employees, which were acquired in the course of their official responsibilities.
“In particular, it is stated that an information request sent to the Supreme Court by a journalist regarding the review of a cassation appeal related to a bank allegedly found its way to one of the bank's owners in an inexplicable manner.
In this regard, we inform you that all documents arriving at the Supreme Court within the framework of a specific case are promptly registered using the automated court document management system and are automatically sent to the electronic cabinets of the case participants. This option is built into the functionality of the 'Electronic Court.'
Therefore, Supreme Court employees did not engage in the unlawful dissemination of documents obtained while performing their official duties, but acted in accordance with the requirements of procedural legislation,” the Supreme Court stated.
