In Ukraine, November 21 is celebrated as the Day of Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces. This holiday honors the heroism, courage, and dedication of paratroopers who ensure the safety and defense capabilities of our state.

Additionally, November 21 marks the Day of Dignity and Freedom, commemorating the start of two revolutions: the Orange Revolution (November 22, 2004) and the Revolution of Dignity (the students' and civic activists' movement that began on November 21, 2013).

This day is a successor to the Day of Freedom, which was celebrated on November 22 in honor of the Orange Revolution from 2005 to 2011, until it was canceled by Yanukovych's decree. On November 13, 2014, Petro Poroshenko signed a decree establishing November 21 as the Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine.

Moreover, November 21 is also recognized as World Fisheries Day. This holiday was initiated by the UN to highlight the importance of fishing as one of the most vital sectors of the global economy and to emphasize the need for sustainable fishing practices to prevent the depletion of fish resources and the pollution of aquatic environments.

In addition, Ukraine and the world celebrate Social Entrepreneurship Day. This international holiday aims to raise awareness about social entrepreneurship and its role in addressing social, environmental, and economic issues.

Furthermore, November 21 is World Television Day. The purpose of this day is to inform society about the role of television in promoting peace, security, economic and social development, and cultural exchange.

Believers celebrate the Entrance of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple.
