On November 28, a collapse occurred in the Kyiv metro due to an air raid alert. Passengers flooded the stations and trains.

The air raid alert in the capital lasted for about 9 and a half hours. There are reports of debris falling in two districts of the capital – Dniprovskiy and Darnytskiy.

Ground stations are just beginning to operate fully. Currently, there is a shortage of trains on the lines, causing passengers to wait a long time for transport on the platforms.

The Kyiv City State Administration noted that after the air raid alert was lifted, the metro resumed operations, and the number of trains on the line is gradually increasing.

Currently, the intervals on the lines are:

  • “Red” – 6 min;
  • “Blue” – 5 min;
  • “Green” – 8 min.

On the red and green lines, intensive train dispatches from the electric depot are ongoing.

Additionally, transit train dispatches from the electric depot to the most crowded passenger stations are being carried out to facilitate transportation.

Traffic jams are also observed on the roads of Kyiv.

In particular, a significant traffic jam has formed at the intersection of Zdolbunovska and Hryhorenka streets.
