In China, a police dog was stripped of an award due to sleeping on the job. This was reported by South China Morning Post.
A corgi named Fuzai was born in August 2023. When he turned four months old, his owner handed him over to a police canine unit in the city of Weifang.
The dog works as a specialist in explosive detection at the canine unit.
Before long, the police pup became a true internet sensation - the page that shares news about Fuzai's life and training along with other police dogs has over 384,000 followers.
Recently, a video surfaced showing the corgi being "thanked" for his successful work. He was awarded a red token, treats, and toys, but the prize was immediately taken away.
“Due to your recent behavior, fatigue at work, and even urinating in your own bowl, we are compelled to reprimand you and confiscate your treats as punishment,” his police handlers told him.
