The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office has reported that during the execution of constitutional duties, a fact was established regarding the illegal registration of ownership rights over limited-circulation state property by a private individual, specifically a civil protection facility with a total area of more than 222 square meters. The shelter is located in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city.
The prosecutor's office notes that "despite the legislative prohibition on the alienation of civil protection facilities from state and communal ownership, ownership rights to such a facility have been illegally registered for a commercial entity."
Consequently, in order to protect the violated interests of the state, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office has filed a lawsuit with the Economic Court of Kyiv to remove obstacles for the state represented by the State Property Fund of Ukraine in the ownership, use, and disposal of the shelter by obligating the commercial entity to return the civil protection facility to the state.
Currently, the court has opened proceedings on the prosecutor's lawsuit and scheduled the case for consideration.
