Recently, patrol officers in Boryspil received a call about a possible suicide attempt, which turned out to be a false alarm. According to the patrol police, the caller dialed 102 to report an emergency.

Upon arrival at the given address, it became clear that the 41-year-old man was not in any danger; he was simply feeling down and wanted to invite the police officers for tea.

The police emphasize the importance of responsibility when using emergency services. False calls disrupt operational work and can delay assistance to those who genuinely need help.

According to Article 183 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, knowingly false calls to emergency services carry a fine ranging from 850 to 3400 hryvnias.
