In the Kyiv region, in Boryspil, a 48-year-old local resident was found to be storing military ammunition in his garage and home. He faces up to seven years in prison. This information was reported by the regional police.
Law enforcement officials conducted searches at the garage and the suspect's residence. Approximately 300 rounds of various calibers, a RGN grenade body with a UDZ type fuse, artillery shells, and a grenade launcher round were discovered and seized.
The police detained the suspect under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Boryspil District Prosecutor's Office, notified the suspect of his charges regarding the illegal acquisition and storage of ammunition (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
