SubscribeThis new wave of the program aims to assist an even larger number of people by adding categories of individuals eligible for additional cash support. Now, recipients include those who are not entitled to pensions, as well as children and adults with disabilities. However, to qualify for assistance, they must meet several conditions.
Assistance is available to individuals residing in regions where active or potential hostilities are taking place, according to order No. 309. Another crucial criterion is the amount of social assistance – it must be less than 3250 hryvnias per month. Additionally, the individual must not be receiving further living assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs) or cash aid from other international organizations.

For instance, if a person receives 2700 hryvnias from the government, they will be provided with an additional 550 hryvnias to cover the difference. Overall, the WFP program will last for six months, with over 284 million hryvnias allocated to support Ukrainians during this period.
Funds will be transferred to the bank accounts of recipients or delivered through "Ukrposhta" – those who have bank accounts are already starting to receive funds, while payments via "Ukrposhta" will commence in a few weeks.
It is important to note that to receive this assistance, there is no need to contact either the WFP or the Ministry of Social Policy – the lists of individuals eligible for payments are generated based on state registries.
