In the United Kingdom, during the international film festival Women and the World, the world premiere of the documentary film "Memory" directed by Domnikiia Levchuk took place. This was reported by the State Film Agency.
The film highlights the parallels between two significant tragedies in Ukraine's history - World War II and the contemporary war. Through the stories of eyewitnesses and participants, the film reminds us that the horrors of war remain relevant even in the 21st century.
“Memory” made it to the shortlist of three finalists in the Best TV Feature Film category and was nominated for the festival award.
The documentary project received a grant from the President of Ukraine for young artists in the field of cinematography in 2021.
The film was produced by Fresh Production Group. The premiere marked an important step towards promoting Ukrainian documentary filmmaking on the international stage.
