The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, announced that the country has received $4.8 billion from the World Bank as part of the PEACE project.
“This is the largest investment project in the bank's history aimed at supporting our country in implementing reforms in the social and educational sectors, healthcare, agricultural producers, as well as recovery projects,” he stated.
The Prime Minister noted that during the full-scale war, nearly $50 billion has been mobilized through the World Bank's mechanisms.
It was previously reported that Ukraine is expecting a tranche from the IMF amounting to 1.1 billion dollars by the end of December.
