In the Kaluga region of Russia, in addition to the oil depot, the "Typhoon" plant, which is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, has been attacked. The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrey Kovalenko, confirmed the information regarding the attack. As reported by Russian Telegram channels, a large fire broke out in the city, and prior to that, residents heard explosions.

The plant specializes in the production of radio-electronic equipment, including communication systems, radar equipment, as well as devices for electronic reconnaissance. Additionally, it manufactures optoelectronic components for observation and targeting systems for combat vehicles, as well as components for aviation, missile systems, and air defense systems.
