The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that Ukraine will receive from the mineral rights agreement the "right to continue fighting" and "a lot of weapons and military equipment." He made this remark while responding to journalists' questions regarding what Ukraine would gain from the agreement.

Trump replied: "350 billion dollars and a lot of equipment, military technology, and the right to continue fighting."

At the same time, according to him, the agreement with Ukraine could allegedly be "a trillion-dollar deal."

He also added that the U.S. will consider the future security of Ukraine "later."

"I talked about this with Russia. It seemed they had no issues with it. So I think they understand... as soon as we do this, they will not come back," the U.S. president said.

He emphasized that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky might come to the U.S. on Friday, February 28, to sign the agreement.

When asked by journalists how long Ukraine would be supplied with equipment and ammunition, Trump noted that "this could go on for some time."

"Perhaps until we reach an agreement with Russia. We need to come to terms with Russia; otherwise, this will continue. ...But now we will get our money back in one form or another," he stated, indicating that Europe will primarily be responsible for military support in the future, as part of a peace agreement.

It is worth noting that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine may recommend signing the mineral rights agreement on February 26.

As previously reported by “Judicial and Legal Newspaper”, the teams from Ukraine and the U.S. are in the final stages of negotiations regarding the mineral rights agreement, as stated by Olga Stefanishina.

Additionally, Ukrainian military forces may replace 65,000 U.S. servicemen stationed in the EU. Furthermore, Europe may create a joint venture with Ukraine for the development of Ukrainian minerals. This was reported by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal.
