Donald Trump has officially announced his decision to appoint Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) in the United States. Trump shared this news on the X platform.
“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS),” Trump stated.
Trump also mentioned that under Kennedy’s leadership, the department will focus on countering the influence of the industrial food complex and pharmaceutical companies, which he claims have long misled Americans regarding public health. He emphasized that the new secretary must put an end to the epidemic of chronic diseases and restore trust in HHS through transparency and scientifically grounded decisions.
“Mr. Kennedy will restore these agencies, relying on the traditions of top-quality scientific research and transparency, to end the epidemic of chronic diseases and make America great and healthy again,” Trump noted.
