As reported, a shooting occurred in the village of Shtastlyve near Kyiv. A video surfaced online showing a man in military uniform shooting at a loader in a warehouse. The Ministry of Defense has begun verifying the information regarding the incident, while investigators have initiated a criminal case.

During the shooting in the village of Shtastlyve in the Kyiv region, a worker from the "Municipal Guard" was present and fired a traumatic weapon. This was reported by the press service of the Ground Forces.

According to their information, the alert group included servicemen from the RTC and SP, as well as employees from the National Police and the "Municipal Guard" of the community.

“In accordance with the current legislation, an alert group was designated for activities in the Prystolychna community... The alert group was checking the documents of drivers and passengers in vehicles traveling on the community's roads,” the command stated.

They explained that during one of these checks, it was discovered that the driver of a vehicle was wanted for violating military registration rules.

“The passenger of the same vehicle jumped out, struck a worker of the 'Municipal Guard,' and began to flee. The 'Municipal Guard' worker who was hit chased after the man and fired a traumatic weapon,” the press service informed.

As a result of the incident, there were no injuries, and the man fled in an unknown direction. All known information is currently being verified.

“We once again urge all media platforms not to demonize the servicemen of the TC and SP and to rely solely on official data,” the Ground Forces added.
