Oleg Tyahnybok's wife is named Olga. She hails from an intellectual family in Galicia, just like the politician himself. They first met during their university years while studying at a medical institute. The couple got engaged in 1991.

In the late 1990s, Tyahnybok began to pursue a political career. Concurrently, he and Olga started their family. Their first daughter, Yaryna-Maria, was born in 1992. Three years later, their family welcomed another daughter, Daria-Bohdana. Their son, Hordiy, joined the family in 1997.
