On Saturday morning, February 1st, Russians launched a massive missile and drone strike on Ukraine. In particular, the enemy attacked Kharkiv, resulting in one death and several injuries. The occupiers also struck a residential building in Poltava, destroying an entire entrance of a five-story building.

Updated 9:15 The State Emergency Service reported that due to the Russian attack two people were killed. Seven others were injured, including a child.
"Rescue workers saved 21 individuals. The entrance from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed, and a fire broke out. Nearby buildings and 12 vehicles were damaged. Emergency rescue operations are still underway," the report stated.
Russians attacked Poltava, hitting a residential building, reported the Poltava Regional Military Administration. Rescuers and all emergency services are on-site. Information about potential casualties is being clarified. Local sources state that an entire entrance has been demolished.
There are also damages to the energy infrastructure in the Myrhorod district of Poltava region. A total of 164 residential and one commercial consumers are without electricity.
As reported on Telegram by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov, after 7 a.m. there was a strike in the Kholodnohirskiy district of the city, within a residential area. A fire broke out at the impact site.
"Unfortunately, one person was killed as a result of the strike in the Kholodnohirskiy district," the message stated.
Terekhov clarified that preliminary data suggests the strike on Kharkiv was carried out by a Shahed-type UAV. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov reported that as of 8:30, the number of injured has risen to five people.
Earlier, "Telegraph" reported on the consequences of large-scale shelling in Odesa and Zaporizhzhia. In Odesa, people were injured, and there were damages in the historical center.
