On November 17, Russia launched 120 missiles and 90 drones at Ukraine. The air defense forces destroyed more than 140 aerial targets. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
Throughout the night and morning, Russian occupiers used various types of drones, including "Shaheds", as well as cruise, ballistic, and aeroballistic missiles such as "Zirkons", "Iskanders", and "Kinzhal".
“In total, about 120 missiles and 90 drones. Our air defense forces destroyed over 140 aerial targets. The enemy's goal was our energy infrastructure across Ukraine. Unfortunately, there are damages to facilities from impacts and debris,” the Head of State stated.
Volodymyr Zelensky noted that there are currently regions without power, and all necessary forces have been mobilized to address the aftermath of the attack.
The President expressed gratitude to the air defense forces - the anti-aircraft troops, F-16 pilots, "Sushkas" and MiGs, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units.
