The State Border Guard Service reported this.

On the outskirts of the village of Velyka Palad, border guards stopped a KAMAZ truck, whose driver was transporting sand. Hidden under the load, in a specially equipped "kung," were 13 men from nine different regions of Ukraine: 3 from Zaporizhzhia, 2 from Lviv, 2 from Kyiv, and one each from Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Zakarpattia, Kirovohrad, Volyn, and Odesa regions. All of them intended to illegally cross into Hungary.

For the provided "services," the border violators were supposed to pay the smuggler between 8,000 to 10,000 dollars. The driver of the KAMAZ and two of his accomplices were detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The three individuals involved in the criminal proceedings have already been informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
