During the conversation with a 21-year-old driver, the police noticed signs of alcohol intoxication. The man underwent testing with a Dräger device, which confirmed that he was driving under the influence — his blood alcohol level was 0.99 promille.
It was also revealed that the individual had never obtained a driver's license and did not have mandatory insurance coverage. The inspectors compiled 5 administrative reports against him: for part 1 and part 5 of Article 126 (Driving a vehicle without the proper documents and without a license again), Article 122-4 (Leaving the scene of an accident), Article 124 (Traffic violations that resulted in damage to vehicles), and part 1 of Article 130 (Driving under the influence) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The driver was removed from operating the vehicle.
