In Transcarpathia, a court has fined a school janitor who struck a student with a mop. The ruling on case No. 297/4654/24 was made public by the Beregovo District Court of the Transcarpathian region.
The case materials indicate that the incident occurred on October 21, 2024, at the Anna Horvat Gymnasium in Beregovo.
The school janitor engaged in bullying against a 14-year-old student by hitting her with a mop used for cleaning the floor. The case documents do not specify what caused the conflict.
A protocol for administrative offenses was drawn up against the employee under part 1 of article 173-4 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. During the court hearing, she admitted her guilt.
The court reviewed all the materials and found the woman guilty of bullying, imposing a penalty of 850 UAH with a court fee of 605 UAH. The court's decision has already come into legal force and is not subject to appeal.
