In Transcarpathia, a man opened fire near the building of the territorial recruitment and social support center. This was reported by Suspilne.

According to police, the offender fired several shots into the air using a noise gun. He was apprehended at the scene.

“As a result of the incident, no one was injured. The man was held administratively responsible under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses,” noted the press secretary of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region, Anna Dan.

The publication adds that the detained individual was a former military serviceman who had been discharged from the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to health issues.

“The man fired because he was angry that he was not being mobilized,” the report states.
