The Ministry of Justice announced that on January 30, a complaint from the Ministry of Defense regarding the appeal of the decision made by private notary Ivashchenko N.V. to amend the information about the head of the state enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency" was submitted to the Collegium for the consideration of complaints in the field of state registration.
On January 31, following the review, a decision was made to annul registration action No. 1000691070009047779 dated January 29, 2025, regarding the change of the head of the state enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency".
As a result of the review of the complaint from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine made the following decisions:
- Arsen Zhumadilov acquiring the status of representative of the state enterprise "Defense Procurement Agency" with the restriction: "temporary fulfillment of the director's duties during the service investigation"
- Marina Bezrukova retaining the status of head with the restriction: "suspended from performing official duties during the service investigation"
We remind you that on January 30, the Defense Procurement Agency stated that Marina Bezrukova is the acting director of the agency as of February 1, 2024.
“These powers have not been terminated and were extended by an additional agreement signed by the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the agency on January 23, 2025.
In this regard, the necessary documents were presented to the state registrar, and the data in the Unified State Register were brought in line with the actual circumstances,” the statement reads.
Additionally, earlier the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov reported, that the contract with the head of the agency Marina Bezrukova will not be extended.
The state enterprise “Defense Procurement Agency” announced that it will continue to operate as usual, despite the decision of Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov not to extend the contract with Marina Bezrukova.
Furthermore, G7 ambassadors reacted to the change of leadership at the Defense Procurement Agency.
