Starting February 1, "Ukrzaliznytsia" will reduce discounts on train tickets to Poland and Hungary. Passengers can still purchase tickets at the old prices until the end of January, but after this date, travel costs will increase.

Tickets to Poland will rise by 20-27% in Intercity+ and SV class carriages, while in compartments, they will increase by 9-27%. The cost of traveling to Hungary will increase by 17% in sleeping cars and by 21% in compartments.

New international routes from "Ukrzaliznytsia"

Since December 15, "Ukrzaliznytsia" has launched several new international routes. For instance, a direct train service between Lviv and Chișinău has been introduced. The train operates every other day, departing from Lviv at 15:00 and arriving in the capital of Moldova at 11:30 the next day. In the opposite direction, it leaves at 17:34 and arrives in Lviv at 15:40.

New routes to Budapest and Bratislava have also been launched. Train No. 9/10 Kyiv – Budapest departs from the capital of Ukraine at 10:16 and arrives in Budapest at 06:00 the next day. In the reverse direction, it departs at 22:40 and arrives in Kyiv at 19:11.

The train to Bratislava operates with a transfer in Chop. It departs from Kyiv at 19:57, with arrival in Bratislava scheduled for 19:33 the following day. In the opposite direction, the departure from the Slovak capital is at 11:27, arriving in Kyiv at 10:01.

Tickets for all international routes can be purchased through the "Ukrzaliznytsia" website or mobile app.
